Singapore Indonesia Australia cable system
- Singapore to Jakarta to Western Australia international cable.
- Facilitates Singapore & Jakarta to Sydney (and if required onward to North Asia and USA) connection for telecommunications carriers.
- Provides Second International Gateway for Indonesia.
- Utilising existing cable station in Singapore.
- Newly constructed cable stations in Jakarta and Western Australia.
- Target Network Ready for Service (RFS) for customers mid 2010.
Western Australia Connectivity
- Will provide new high speed broadband backbone and second route for domestic traffic from Perth to Dampier.
- Will provide spur connections to other major WA regional centres of Port Hedland and Karratha.
North West Shelf
- Working with oil and gas operators on the North West Shelf.
- Builds submarine cable to off-shore facilities in existing gas pipeline easements.
- Connects off-shore and on-shore facilities to Perth and beyond.
- Timed with new field development, platform automation and establishment of oil and gas project construction township initiatives.
- Suppliers engaged in tender process, opportunity for a world leading solution to be developed.
- Changing the operating paradigm for the North West Shelf.
